Romantic and hypnotic Phalibois automaton of six dolls dancing to a fiddler's tune. As the figures waltz in a circular motion, the fiddler energetically plays while nodding his head from side to side. With three airs in his repertoire, under the shade of an autumnal arbour, it's a portrayal of 18th Century courting couples, made in Paris around 1870.
