Early 19th Century glazed display case originally used to exhibit portrait miniatures. Carved wood and gesso frame and original gilding. The rope work frame features plumes and scrolls, and is surmounted with a pair of stylised hounds either side of the central grotesque. Lined with period red silk damask.
