Made around 1880, this oversized pair of Balmoral boots was commissioned for the purpose of exhibition by Rhodes Rawling of Halifax. Showing off their skill as boot manufacturers; these are the highest quality sole and upper with the ivy leaf brand carved into the soles. The style looks quite contemporary but also represents the height of Victorian men's fashion.
